OpenHouse Marketing is seeking a creative and motivated Content Producer to join our team. This position is a hybrid of content production, social media management, and digital marketing. As a content producer, you'll be responsible for making our clients' brands come to life through their online communications. You'll do this by strategically managing our clients' social media accounts, including the production of content from start to finish.

This is a remote, entry-level position, and requires occasional travel in Southern Ontario for content shoots and meetings. The starting salary for this position is $40,000 in addition to an employee wellness program, and other perks.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to discover their needs and understand their vision (10%)

• Create graphics and imagery for social media, occasionally web and email (45%)

• Produce photo and video content including planning, shooting, and editing (10%)

• Write copy for social media, occasionally web and email (20%)

• Create basic content strategy and monitor analytics (10%)

• Plan, schedule, and post content (5%)

About You

• You're a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset

• You have a strong eye for detail, you understand aesthetics, and you keep up with design trends

• You're an outside-the-box thinker and problem solver who isn't afraid to take creative risks

• You keep up with social media trends and know what's relevant across all platforms

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Canva and Squarespace

• Valid G class driver's license and ability to travel within Southern Ontario for content shoots and meetings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred, Perfect-World Qualifications

• University Degree or College Diploma in a related field

• Experience in copywriting, graphic design, or related field

• Working knowledge of content management softwares including Loomly, Later, etc

• Working knowledge of Shopify, Creative Cloud/Adobe Suite especially Photoshop and Illustrator
